Why It Matters
Diabetes remains a major health challenge globally — and in the Turks & Caicos Islands. Early screening, good nutrition, physical activity and informed lifestyle choices are key to prevention and management. The Fair gives everyone a practical, accessible opportunity to take part.
The global theme for World Diabetes Day (November 14) for 2024-26 is “Diabetes & the Workplace”, focusing on how employers, colleagues and communities can support people‐living with or at risk of diabetes.
